RunOps Studio
Last updated: 14 October 2026
These terms cover everything we sell: the System Sprint, consulting hours, Notion templates and our online training. They apply once you accept them at checkout or accept a proposal in writing. Accepting online is as binding as a signature.
Read them next to our Privacy Policy. Where we sign a separate proposal or statement of work with you, that document wins on anything it covers, and these terms fill in the rest.
The short version
- Fixed scope, fixed price, fixed timeline. Changes to any of the three get agreed in writing first.
- You pay before we start, including for any extra work. Digital products are non-refundable once you have access.
- We build it, you own how you use it. The underlying templates and methods stay ours.
- We work fast, so we need your decisions fast. Delays on your side move the dates, not the fee.
- We promise good work, not business outcomes. Those depend on how your team uses what we build.

In these terms, we and us mean RunOps Studio. You means the person or company buying. Our work is built for businesses, so you confirm you are buying in a business capacity, are at least 18, and are authorised to commit your company. When you buy on our site, you give your company name at checkout.
2. What we sell
In short: four things, each with its own scope.
What | Form | Price |
The System Sprint | A fixed-scope build of your operating system in Notion, run over at most 3 months, including 5 hours of sessions and support. | As published, or as quoted in your proposal |
Consulting hours | Strategic sessions and advisory time, booked in blocks | Quoted per engagement |
Templates | Notion templates, sold by Notion through the Notion Marketplace on Notion's terms. See section 3 | As shown in the Marketplace |
Online training | As described on the training page | As shown at checkout |
What each engagement includes is set out on the relevant page or in your proposal. Anything not written there is out of scope. We are not obliged to accept every order, and we may decline or end an engagement where the fit is wrong, the request falls outside our expertise, the behaviour is abusive, or a sanctions or compliance check requires it.
3. How an agreement starts
In short: you pay at checkout, or you accept a proposal.
The System Sprint and our online training are bought directly on our site. The agreement starts when your payment goes through, and what you buy is what the relevant page describes at the time of your order.
Templates are sold through the Notion Marketplace. That sale is a contract between you and Notion. Section 9 still sets out what you may do with the template, and section 8 covers what happens if it is broken.
Consulting work and custom engagements run on a proposal instead. It stays valid for 14 days and the agreement starts when you accept it in writing and pay the invoice.
Ordering is not the same as delivery. If we cannot deliver, or the fit is clearly wrong, we refund you in full and tell you why.
After a Sprint payment clears we contact you within 2 working days to agree your start date. Dates are subject to availability and are confirmed in writing.
4. Prices, tax and payment
In short: everything is paid before we start, and taxes come on top.
Prices are in the currency shown at checkout or in your proposal, and exclude taxes.
We set prices per service and can change them at any time. The price you see at the time of your order is the price for that order. A price quoted in a proposal holds for 14 days.
Tax. Where UAE VAT applies, we add it. Where your country charges VAT, GST, sales tax or import duty on this purchase, that is yours to pay and account for. If your country requires you to withhold tax on our invoice, the amount we receive must still equal the invoice, so the payment is grossed up.
When you pay. Everything is paid in full before delivery starts: the Sprint, consulting hours, training and any additional work. We book your slot once payment clears. Template payments run through the Notion Marketplace, so Notion collects them, not us.
Invoices. Where a proposal allows payment after the start, invoices are due within 14 days of the date shown. Late payment carries interest of 1% per month plus any reasonable collection costs. If an invoice is overdue we can pause the work, hold deliverables and suspend access until it clears, and none of the agreed dates move in your favour while that happens.
Card payments on our site run through Stripe. Bank charges and currency conversion costs are yours. Starting a chargeback instead of talking to us is a breach of these terms, and we can suspend access while it is resolved.
5. Running the work
In short: fast work needs fast decisions.
We deliver inside the window in your proposal, provided we get what we need from you.
You agree to:
- name one decision-maker with authority to approve
- give us the access, information and answers we need within 2 working days of asking
- make sure the data and content you give us is accurate and yours to share
- attend booked sessions, or move them with at least 48 hours notice
If a session is missed or moved later than that, it counts as delivered.
If we are waiting on you, the timeline shifts by at least that delay and the fee stays the same. If we are still waiting after 14 days, we can park the engagement. The System Sprint ends 3 months after your first onboarding session, even if parts are still open because we were waiting on you. Further work can then be booked as consulting hours.
Consulting hours expire 3 months after purchase. Unused hours are not refunded and do not transfer to another company.
6. Changes to scope
In short: we agree changes before they happen, not after.
Ask for something outside the agreed scope and we tell you what it costs and what it does to the timeline. Work starts once you have approved that in writing and paid for it, at the rate that applies to that engagement.
We keep the right to change how we deliver something, as long as the result still matches what was agreed.
7. Cancelling and rescheduling
In short: the closer to the start, the less comes back.
You cancel a Sprint or consulting engagement.
- more than 14 days before the start: a full refund minus an administration fee of USD 100, or the equivalent in the currency you paid, or a free move to a new start date
- 14 days or less before the start: we keep 25% of the fee and refund the rest, because we have held the slot and turned other work away
- once delivery has started, as described in section 8: no refund
We cancel. If we cannot deliver for a reason within our control, you get the unused portion of your fee back. That is the limit of what we owe you for the cancellation.
8. Delivery and refunds
In short: once delivery has started, the sale is final.
Delivery starts:
- for the System Sprint, at your first onboarding session
- for consulting hours, per session: each session counts as delivered once it has taken place
- for online training, the moment your access opens, right after payment
Once delivery has started there is no refund, unless the law where you live says otherwise.
Templates bought in the Notion Marketplace follow Notion's refund policy, which currently allows a refund request within 14 days of purchase. Ask Notion first, since they took the payment.
When you buy on our site, you ask us to start straight away and accept that any statutory cooling-off period ends once delivery has started as described above.
If a template or training module is broken, tell us within 14 days and we fix it or replace it. Buying a template you do not use, or one you decide is not what you expected, is not a fault.
Consumers. Templates can be bought by private persons on the Notion Marketplace. If you buy as a consumer, your local law may give you rights that these terms cannot remove. Nothing here limits those.
9. What you get to keep
In short: you own your business. We keep our building blocks.
Your material stays yours: your data, your content, your workspace, everything you bring.
Our material stays ours: our templates, frameworks, methods, course content, documentation and everything we developed before or outside your engagement, including improvements to it.
What we build for you. Once you have paid in full, you get a perpetual, worldwide, non-exclusive licence to use the system we built for you in the System Sprint inside your own company, including with your employees and contractors. That licence does not cover reselling it, publishing it as a template, or offering it as a service to others.
Templates and training carry the same limits: one company, internal use, per-seat where seats are sold. No sharing logins, no redistribution, no reselling, no repackaging our material into a product or service of your own, and no use of it to train an AI model.
Anonymised learning. We keep the right to reuse the general knowledge, know-how and techniques we develop, as long as nothing identifying you goes with it.
10. Showing our work
In short: we ask before we name you.
We would like to describe what we built and the result it produced. We use your name, logo or a quote only with your written approval. Without it, we describe the work anonymously, for example as a company in your sector at your stage. Tell us at any time to stop, and we stop.
11. Confidentiality
Both sides keep the other's non-public information confidential, use it only for this engagement, and protect it as carefully as their own. This does not cover information that is already public, that you already had, or that the law requires us to disclose. It runs for 3 years after the engagement ends.
12. Data protection
When we handle personal data about your team inside your systems, you are the controller and we are the processor. That runs under our client agreement and, where required, a data processing agreement, including the Standard Contractual Clauses or the UK Addendum for clients in the EEA or UK.
Keep your customer data in your own Notion workspace. We work inside it and do not take copies unless the work requires it. Any working copies are deleted within 30 days of go-live. Send us only the personal data the work needs, and keep special category data out of what you share.
13. AI in our work
In short: we use AI tools, under our control, and never on your data as training material.
We use AI in our own delivery and in the systems we build. We stay responsible for the output either way. We do not use your data to train AI models, and we choose AI providers whose business terms exclude training on customer data.
Where we use an AI notetaker, we say so in the invite and again at the start of the call, and we switch it off if anyone objects. We keep no audio recordings.
14. What we promise, and what we do not
In short: skill and care, not outcomes.
We deliver with reasonable skill and care, using people who know this work.
We do not promise business results. Revenue, growth, hiring outcomes, time saved and team behaviour depend on decisions and effort inside your company. Nothing on our site, in a proposal, in training or in a session is a guarantee of a result, and none of it is legal, tax, financial or HR advice.
Templates and training are provided as they are. Notion, Stripe and every other tool in the chain belong to third parties: their availability, pricing, terms and feature changes are outside our control, and licences for them are yours to buy and maintain.
You are responsible for backing up your own workspace and for who you grant access to it.
15. Liability
In short: if something goes wrong on our side, the most we pay is what you paid us.
If we make a mistake that costs you money, the most we pay, for everything connected to that engagement together, is the fees you paid us for it in the 12 months before the problem arose.
We do not pay for indirect or follow-on losses, such as lost profit, lost revenue, lost savings, lost data, business interruption, or claims someone else brings against you.
None of this limits liability for fraud, wilful misconduct, death or personal injury, or anything else the law does not let us limit.
If someone holds us liable because of content or data you gave us, because you used a deliverable outside the licence in section 9, or because you broke these terms, you cover that cost.
Tell us in writing as soon as you notice a problem, so we can fix it while that is still possible.
16. Ending the agreement
Either side can end the agreement immediately, in writing, if the other commits a material breach and has not fixed it within 14 days of being told, becomes insolvent, or is prevented by law or sanctions from continuing.
We can also end it immediately for non-payment, for abusive or discriminatory behaviour towards our team, or for misuse of our material.
When an agreement ends:
- what you have paid for and received stays yours to use, including the workspace delivered in your System Sprint, under the licence in section 9
- fees for delivered work and booked time stay due, and prepaid fees are refunded only as section 7 says
- work that has not been paid for does not start, and no licence for it starts
- if we end the agreement for non-payment or misuse of our material, access to the training ends
Sections 9, 11, 12, 14, 15, 18 and 19 survive.
17. Force majeure
Neither side is liable for delay caused by something genuinely outside its control, such as war, natural disaster, government action, or the failure of a major platform we depend on. This does not suspend payment for work already delivered.
If it lasts longer than 30 days, either side can end the agreement and settle what has been delivered.
18. Practical points
Notices go by email: to hello@runopsstudio.com for us, and to the address on your order for you.
You cannot transfer this agreement to another company without our written consent. We can transfer it as part of a sale or reorganisation of our business.
If a clause turns out to be unenforceable, the rest stays in force. Not enforcing something once does not waive it.
Nothing here creates a partnership, joint venture or employment relationship. Neither of us can act for the other.
These terms, the order page and any signed proposal are the whole agreement. Nothing else we said or published adds to them.
These terms are written in English. If a translation exists, the English version wins.
Only you and we can enforce this agreement. No one else gets rights under it.
You contract with the company, not with the people in it. None of our team is personally liable for the work.
19. Law and disputes
These terms run under the laws of the Dubai International Financial Centre (DIFC).
Talk to us first: most things get solved in a conversation. If that fails, disputes go to the courts of the Dubai International Financial Centre (DIFC), in English, including its Small Claims Tribunal where the amount allows it.
If you bought as a consumer, the mandatory law of your own country still applies to you.
20. Changes to these terms
We update these terms when our services change. The version on the site at the time of your order is the one that applies to it. The current version always lives at runopsstudio.com/terms-conditions, dated at the top.
